At Brookfield Properties Multifamily, the Learning and Development organization is front and center of the employee experience and embedded directly within operations. We challenge learners' understanding through relevant activities, author measurable learning objectives, and develop materials that promote transfer, retention, and application. We work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where quality, creativity and accountability are tradition. The Learning Operations Team is growing rapidly and in anticipation of several exciting initiatives will need a strong versatile Learning Consultant, Systems, to support our growing needs. We are looking for a seasoned learning professional that is a self-starter and passionate in contributing to a role that will focus on onsite operations in the primary learning centers of systems training, content development and facilitation.
Essential Job Functions
Job Function #1: Project and Stakeholder Management
• Proactively consults with clients to determine training needs that support business strategic objectives and develop short and long-term training strategy, solutions and plans.
• Main point of contact owning, maintaining, and building relationships with key system stakeholders.
• Partners with stakeholders to develop long term curriculum planning.
• Accountable to stakeholder for the delivery of quality training and materials supporting their programs and initiatives.
• Attend stakeholder departmental meetings and hold regular check-ins with those stakeholders to stay abreast of changing or new technologies, initiatives, products or software etc.
• Act as a learning project manager effectively managing projects, timelines, deliverables, communications, change management etc.
• Proactively identify issues, research as needed, to identify root cause and ownership stakeholder. Inform stakeholder(s) of system issues and partner with them to troubleshoot and hand off to stakeholder for resolution. Continue to monitor the issue’s progress and assist, as needed. (30%)
Job Function #2: Training Development & Cirriculum Management
• Partner with the Instructional Designer and various stakeholders to develop materials and resources for training.
• Develops curriculums that are repeatable and scalable leveraging eLearning, design technologies, microlearning and maximizing LMS usage and reporting.
• Develops course and curricula used to train new system functionality or to enhance learner knowledge or understanding of systems functions.
• Develop program, learning and reporting strategies and deploy to engage associates throughout their learning lifecycle.
• Support the ongoing maintenance of training materials and associated processes.
• Participates as a project team member in the implementation and execution of department initiatives. (35%)
Job Function #3: Learning Delivery
• Deliver a wide variety of materials and systems training in a variety of modalities.
• Delivers systems trainings in variety of modalities that are most effective to the end user.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and learning delivery teams to ensure consistency in providing system training and procedures. (20%)
Job Function #4: Program Administration and Ongoing Program Support
• Performs administration duties including course scheduling, registration/tracking, preparation of facilities, virtual classrooms, and other tasks to make each session successful.
• Support various LMS administration functions, as assigned.
• Provide program-based reporting and escalations.
• Respond to adhoc individual training needs. (10%)
Job Function #5: Acquisition Support
• Travel to acquisitions and/or virtually deliver a wide variety of materials and systems training to newly hired associates.(i.e. Property Management Software)
• Be a key contributor to the project team that works on new acquisition and new build opening support.
• Provide necessary logistical, planning, strategy, delivery and administration support for acquisition and new builds. (5%)
Education
This position requires a(n) Undergraduate (Bachelor) Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Human Resources, or related field
Work Experience
Below is the required/preferred work experience for this position:
3 - 4 Years:
Property Management, Real Estate, and/or Multifamily Experience
Training and Curriculum Development
Project Management
Technology product experience/ownership including roadmap development, integration, planning, implementation, administration, user roles, reporting, customization and/or Subject Matter Expertise
Customer and system process orientation
Note: 5 - 7 Years of experience can offset minimum educational requirements for this position
Travel
Travel up to 25% of the time
