About this team
At lululemon, our Product Quality Inspectors are responsible for incoming product inspection, reporting the inspection findings, and driving the short-term containment and remediation of product quality issues. Our QA Auditors serves as a final checkpoint to ensure our products meet lululemon quality standards and guests’ expectations before shipment to stores and delivery to our guests. This position is stationed at our global lululemon distribution center in Los Angeles.?
Reporting into the Team Lead, NA Production Quality Inspections, the Product Quality Inspector is responsible for incoming product inspection, reporting the inspection findings, and driving the short-term containment and remediation of product quality issues. QA Inspectors serve as a final checkpoint to ensure our products meet lululemon quality standards and guests’ expectations before shipment to stores and delivery to our guests. This position is stationed at our global lululemon distribution centers.
Core Responsibilities:
Product Inspections and Quality Control
- Responsible for inspecting styles as per lululemon’s inspection and sampling criteria, to ensure that workmanship, measurements, and overall products conform to defined product specifications and regulatory compliance standards
- Own the execution of the inspection process from Purchase Order (PO) receipt, to reporting and disposition of identified issues.
- Record and report inspection findings as defined by the Global Quality Manual
- Create and upload inspection reports into lululemon’s reporting system.
- Coordinate product rework with appropriate lululemon liaison offices (LLO), factories, and third-party rework facilities
- Conduct investigations and propose short-term corrective action plans, and product containment and disposition plans
- Train and educate new and temporary inspectors as required.
- Provide inspections data to support Global Quality improvement initiatives.
Quality Inventory Management
- Coordinate with DC Inventory Management teams to ensure Purchase Orders are handled and quarantined appropriately and effectively.
- Support the Global Quality team in reviewing inventory with quality nonconformances, and actively work on exiting that inventory through appropriate channels.
Relationship Management
- Independently own working relationship with 3rd parties and DC management team
- Contribute and support in creation of policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with DC Management teams to define DC specific QA procedures and workflows
Qualifications:
- 5+ years working experience in the garment/apparel/retail industry
- Diploma or associate degree in the garment manufacturing, quality or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years of quality inspection experience and knowledge of different inspection techniques
- Able to read, understand and interpret basic product drawings, dimensions, procedures, and work instructions.
- Able to use quality measurement tools, such as tape measure, caliper, hygrometer, moisture meter, light color box.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PPT, Teams, SharePoint)
- Working knowledge of an ERP or Warehouse Management system (WMS) is beneficial.
- Experience working in a Distribution Center environment is preferred.

- Ability to work on computer for extended period.
- Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50lbs/23kgs.

Compensation and Benefits Package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team?performance. The?typical hiring range for this position is from? $64,100-$80,600USD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements. ?
