The position will also work closely with:
Information Technology, Finance, Product Development, and Vendor Risk (other 1LODs);
Enterprise Risk Management, Stress Testing, and Compliance (second lines of defense [2LOD]); and
Internal Audit (third line of defense [3LOD]).
Our Impact:
Our team is responsible for technology risk and controls maintenance, accuracy, testing, and governance within Freddie Mac’s Investments & Capital Markets division.
We work closely with stakeholders within Information Risk, Business Technology Office, I&CM, and other divisions to continually mature the firm’s risk program.
Your Impact:
Conducting continuous technical, model, and business operations control testing to identify gaps and emerging threats, and perform pre-2LOD and/or 3LOD review readiness
Supporting establishment, maintenance and validations of SOX, non-SOX technical, and operational controls across I&CM technology activities
Tracking, monitoring and reporting on divisional technology risk and control issues
Identifying and proposing remediations to potential segregations of duties risks
Providing risk and controls input for I&CM new business and governance initiatives
Coordinating with the divisional Risk & Control group on audits and exams, including managing action plans to timely and accurate completion
Supporting implementation of the Three Lines of Defense and other corporate operational risk initiatives
Creating and maintaining process and procedure documentation for risk and controls activities
Generating risk and compliance-related materials for I&CM, IT, ERM, IA and FHFA, including periodic updates and time-sensitive requests
Qualifications:
5+ years of audit (2LOD or 3LOD), control testing, model risk, artificial intelligence, emerging threats, program governance, data compliance, and/or risk experience in technology processes (ideal candidate possesses experience in several of these areas)
Conducting either technical control testing, or technical risk assessments is required for consideration
Proven ability to audit and/or assess the adequacy of internal technical controls in mitigating risk
Experience supporting financial and/or product development services desired, but comparable industries acceptable with a demonstrated willingness to learn
Degree in Finance, Risk Management, Information Security, or a technology-related field; or equivalent work experience preferred
Experience implementing Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and/or proactively identifying potential technical and emerging risks
Experience defining and documenting technical and business governance
Ability to track and report on achievement of plans/projects
CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, PMP, CRISC or other related professional certification preferred

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $143,000 - $215,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
