The UCLA Center for Prehospital Care at the David Geffen School of Medicine in the Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking an Administrative Office Coordinator to join our Administration team. The Administrative Office Coordinator works under the Administrative Services Manager and collaborate closely with the management team within the UCLA Center for Prehospital Care.
As a critical member of our Administration, you will work as a part of a high-functioning team to support the premier prehospital care education Center in the nation. The successful candidate will support the administrative aspects of the Center including: managing student course enrollments, student registration and records, processing student transcript and disability requests, handling various payment methods, processing orders and invoices, and providing general administrative support.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, where three principles guide the culture: Do Things Right, Make Things Better, and Be Kind.
Hourly range: $29.94-$47.76
Job Qualifications

Required:
High School Diploma or GED
5 years minimum of Business operations and/or administration experience
Ability to use high-level discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality
Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Analytical skills sufficient to interpret and apply University and campus policies; define problems; formulate logical conclusions, recognize alternatives
Strong written skills to prepare accurate, concise, and clear reports and document
Communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with University-wide and campus-wide Administrators, Deans, Department Chair, faculty and staff both orally and written
Preferred:
Knowledge of academic and/or administrative structure of institutions of higher education
