PSI Pax has an exciting opportunity for a Jr. Financial Services Analyst to join our team in support of our client in Indian Head, MD.

Key Responsibilities:

Support accounting and systems accounting requirements for NAVSEA’S Navy ERP end users. Performs tasks related to financial sustainment of Navy ERP including:

Supports financial posting of Navy ERP transactions resulting from interfacing system including the Defense Travel System (DTS) and the DFAS Daily Expenditure File (DDEF) which creates Unmatched Disbursements (UMD) records.
Coordinate with functional subject matter experts to resolve end user or data issues.
Supports master data management.
Assists in generating reporting and analyzing data.
Support invoice and payment processing for NAVSEA vendors.
Provide accounting transaction reconciliation support.

Required Qualifications:

Secret Clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Two (2) years of general business experience. Accounting or financial management experience is desired.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel functions.
Must work well independently; have the ability to interface with customers in senior/executive level positions.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and must provide customer service both internally and externally.

Education Requirements:

Associate degree in business discipline.

Education Substitution:

High School Diploma may be substituted for Degree with an additional two (2) years of relevant experience.
