Job Abstract

Job Duties:

Oversee patient navigation services, including development and monitoring of workflows, supervision of navigation staff, and expansion of services as funding allows

In collaboration with Medical Director, develop and roll out process improvements to clinical and navigation workflows to support optimal efficiency and patient experience

Working closely with LGBTQ+ Program Director, manage existing portfolio of program grants, including ensuring deliverables and reporting deadlines are met, and develop applications for additional sources of funding

Working closely with LGBTQ+ Program Director, secure additional sources of grant funding through strategic development of initiatives and cultivation of key funder relationships

Develop and maintain infrastructure for data management as needed to support program operations, grant reporting, and QI or research initiatives

Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with external partners, including planning and executing new collaborative projects and ensuring the continued success of existing projects

Conduct internal and external presentations regarding LGBTQ+ health topics

Support external profile of the LGBTQ+ Center through coordinating Center’s presence at conferences and events

Support academic and thought leadership initiatives of the Center as needed, potentially to include coordinating electives for medical learners, supporting preparation of research abstracts and academic papers, and developing new presentations for community and professional audiences

Supervise patient navigation staff and Center interns or volunteers, if applicable

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, or related field preferred

Experience:

Minimum 3 years experience in program oversight

Previous experience with grantwriting and management of funded programs

Previous supervisory experience

Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare needs of the LGBTQ+ community
