About the role
The JDE Functional Consultant Senior contributes to the enhancement and support of JD Edwards 9.2 by actively participating in projects and business as usual initiatives impacting the system. This role partakes in the assigned JD Edwards 9.2 implementation activities within the broader JDE team, collaborating closely with external providers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution. Responsibilities include analysing business requirements, configuring the JD Edwards system, and providing expertise in functional areas. The Senior Consultant does not manage personnel but may provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Note: This role can be based in Napa, or remote and it is a 6- 12 month-fixed-term contract
- Second Tier support and QA of JD Edwards 9.2 globally
- Define JD Edwards 9.2 functional requirements through the interactions with internal users and external providers.
- Configure changes in JD Edwards 9.2 following SDLC.
- Collaborate with JD Edwards 9.2 developers to provide good service level of implementations to users.
- Collaborate with key offshore support resources across multiple teams.
- Communicate effectively via written, verbal and presentation mediums.
- Research and resolve JD Edwards’ application issues, working closely with business users and technical resources.
- Identify and propose JD Edwards 9.2 system improvements and efficiency opportunities.
- Adhere to required software development life cycle and TWE IT principals and change management policies.
- Provide project status reporting, keeping management informed as project progress and priorities change.
- Work with multiple internal teams for cross functional development and enhancement processes.
About you
With a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent experience, you will have solid experience in a functional and/or consultancy role with work experience in JD Edwards 9.2 utilising SDLC delivery methods.
- Experience with business process mapping and optimisation
- Experience in SDLC methodology
- Demonstrated examples of implementing system improvement recommendations
- Demonstrated examples of analytical and problem-solving skills
- Well-rounded project management and communication skills
- Solid expertise and experience with one or more of the following technology solutions:
- JD Edwards 9.2 (ERP) – required (Finance, AR, AP, Fixed Assets)
- SQL or Reports Now - desirable
- Integrated environments– desirable

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $120,000 to $155,000 per year on a fixed contract. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data. Our expectation is that the incumbent will work out of Napa, CA. If the incumbent works out of another location, the wage rate may fall above or below this range. Treasury reserves the right to modify the range in the future.
