Job Summary
GENERAL INFORMATION:
The Program Coordinator works directly under the supervision of the Community Programs Prevention Manager. It is the responsibility of the Program Coordinator to plan, organize and perform a wide variety of specialized administrative and technical duties in support of the successful completion of work scope goals and deliverables for grant-funded projects. The Program Coordinator is expected to design and implement plans to meet the objectives of the Substance Use Prevention projects, in collaboration with the Prevention Manager, and in accordance with grant guidelines. Substance Use Prevention programs include the Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE) program and Drug Free Community (DFC) coalition programs.
Requirements / Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required
• Teaching Credential and/or Master’s degree in a related field preferred
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience managing, coordinating, and budgeting grant-funded projects
• Experience in managing Substance Use Prevention Programs
• A minimum of 1 year of experience supervising staff preferred
• CDL and NCOE driving clearance required
