Department Summary

Pharma Partnering is comprised of Business Development and Alliance Management, which are a diverse group of professionals who apply scientific, financial and negotiating expertise to establish and maintain collaborations and other strategically important transactions (such as Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), pipeline assets, capabilities & option deals, new company formations, etc.) in support of gRED, pRED and PD/GPS mission to achieve our 10 year ambitions.  

As a key enabler, the Strategy & Operations department is responsible for business operations and 

strategy development of the global Pharma Partnering organization for Roche and Genentech working 

closely with other parts of the Roche Group towards our Pharma Vision. 

This internship position is located in Soutn San Francisco, On site  

The Opportunity

• Work closely with the Business Operations Analyst to support a short-term project to document current Search and Evaluation process for each of our Therapeutic Areas

• Develop process flow diagrams and present findings at a BDPL meeting

• Recommend areas for improvement or alignment

• Identify possible AI/automated options to support S&E/landscaping process

Program Highlights

• Full time (40 hours per week) paid internship.

• Program timeframe August 2024

• A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship. 

• Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.

Required Education:

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student)

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position in California is $21.00 - $50.00 per hour.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
