Manufacturing Technician/Compounder

$19/hour +$1.75/hour Shift Differential

Flexible shift - You pick your schedule

Mon-Fri - 8 hours/day between the hours of 2am and 10pm

Americhem manufactures and sells thermoplastic color compounds and is looking for Manufacturing Technicians in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Technicians will set up and compound formulations with approved raw material products in a safe and efficient manner according to specifications and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.
• Experience: 1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred, not required.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Follows all quality system and safety protocols by safely operating equipment, wearing proper protective equipment (PPE), completing safety training, keeping work areas clean and organized, and contributing to established safety goals.
• Effectively manages time and meets deadlines.
• Demonstrates organizational skills by working independently and with a team.
• Safely operates powered industrial vehicles and moves product to appropriate areas.
• Effectively operates and understands all required compounding equipment that includes blenders and scales.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Lead.
