The DoDIN Joint Warfighting Capabilities Department is seeking highly motivated, innovative, and self-directed engineers to join our team. You will be working with DoD and technology experts to preserve and expand our competitive advantage in the face of near-peer competition and asymmetric threats. Competitive advantage will be highly dependent upon our ability to deliver information for critical decision making at a rapid pace.
As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to architect, design, and prototype cloud solutions to support the fusion of data for analytics, decision making, & command and control. Strong technical experience with cloud data solutions and services to support extract, transform (data harmonization and normalization), and load are necessary as well as the ability to secure (at rest and in transit) and rapidly deliver that data to global users as required.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications:
- Typically, BS in software engineering or related field of study; or 3 years and a Master’s, or PhD with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
- Active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS Clearance
- Significant and demonstrated technical experience designing, implementing of cloud solution architectures, prototypes, and pilots with a strong focus on cloud data solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL, and relational database design and administration
- Outstanding Software Engineering skills are essential including architecting, development, and integration.
- Two years C# development experience.
- Two years’ experience developing REST or GraphQL APIs.
- Proficient using the git version control system.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to define and lead small efforts.
- Excellent collaboration skills as well as the ability to work autonomously when necessary is required.
- This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site presence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Master’s degree in software engineering or related fields of study.
- Proficient in Entity Framework with MS SQL Server.
- Experience with the Hot Chocolate GraphQL engine.
- Experience developing Azure Function and web applications with Azure App Service.
- Certifications with one or more Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), i.e., AWS, Azure, etc.
- Knowledge of DoD networks and services.
