BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Directly responsible to the principal of the school assigned. Responsible to the Special Education Director for program components. The teacher shall provide instruction to elementary students using appropriate instructional materials in order to provide suitable group and individual instructional and learning experiences for students identified as requiring a special class setting for the majority of the day as specified in the Individualized Education Program (IEP). Coordinates all aspects of an individuals designed program to assure students receive all necessary services.
