JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the EVP, Chief Information Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the existing data infrastructure with a team of resources focused upon Business Intelligence, Data Transformation, Innovation, and Data Strategy and Architecture. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for leading a transformational data program to move the bank towards a cloud-based data foundation that provides: 1) timely access to all data in one place, 2) self-service capabilities, 3) access to automated, standardized, dashboard reporting, 4) consistent and accurate data integrated from various systems, and 5) confidence in data for decision-making. The incumbent will be a partner to the CFO, CRO, CCO, COO, and their key team members to ensure data needs are met.

• Creates a clear vision, strategy and execution plan for development of the bank’s transformational data foundation.
• Demonstrates strong information management, data analytics and architecture skills with knowledge of cloud-based data infrastructures and various technology reporting platforms.
• Understands core banking data for Deposits, Commercial Loans, Mortgages, Payments and Financial Solutions (General Ledgers, Financial Planning and Analysis, Treasury, etc.).
• Manages the data priorities from inputs from the individual business groups as well as the consolidated priorities for the Bank.
• Manages data as a strategic asset by building and maintaining the architecture, reporting and data monitoring to increase the availability and accuracy of data throughout the organization.
• Leads the long-term design, development, analysis and distribution of information for the Bank.

• Manages, leads and motivates individuals within the team as well as additional cross-functional teams.
• Builds and maintains productive relationships within the organization as well as third-party solution providers.

• Strong familiarity with multi-cloud data and analytics architectures and platforms (across AWS and Azure - including Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake)
• Familiarity with AI/ML, unstructured data, and data enrichment implementations within data analytics platforms
• Familiarity with regulated institution-related (e.g. banking and health care) laws, guidance, controls, policies, and procedures especially related to information technology and data
• Strong familiarity in Business Analytical tools (Business Objects, Birst, Tableau, Power BI)
• Strong familiarity in Database Management and Data Query writing (SQL)
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Access and Excel)
• Extensive knowledge in banking processes and practices
• Detail-oriented with organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work in both a team and individual environment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and objectives in a rapidly changing environment.
• Must possess high degree of professionalism and collaboration in working with others.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Finance, Accounting, MBA is preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in data management
• Extensive experience managing a data team.
• Experience in developing company-wide data strategy and vision.

SALARY RANGE: $209,888.64 - 279,839.04 USD; Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
