Job Description
Operational Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitor daily operations and coordinate activities across departments to ensure smooth business operations.
Team Leadership and Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of department heads and operational staff.
Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
Resource Allocation and Optimization:
Optimize resource utilization, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to meet operational goals and budget targets.
Manage inventory levels and logistics to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Implement quality control measures and process improvements to enhance product/service quality and customer satisfaction.
Financial Oversight:
Monitor and manage operational budgets and expenses to achieve financial targets.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-control measures without compromising quality or service delivery.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for operational improvements and lead initiatives to streamline processes and reduce waste.
Implement Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles to drive operational efficiency and productivity.
Reporting and Analysis:
Analyze operational performance metrics and KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on operational performance and strategic initiatives.

The Successful Applicant
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in a manufacturing or service-oriented industry.
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Solid understanding of financial management principles and budgeting processes.
Proficiency in project management and operational software/tools.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Operations Management (e.g., APICS CPIM, Six Sigma Black Belt).
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and other operational management software.
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced environment with occasional travel required.
Flexibility to work extended hours as needed to meet deadlines or resolve operational issues.
