Supports staff and faculty on the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine Middletown, NY campus to complete their day to day job. Software and technical help/advisement to staff and faculty (350+ users).
Responsibilities
Responsible for general day to date support, to include, but not limited to as much of the following as possible:
Manages DNS, DHCP server.
Manages mailing list server
Performs basic installation, configuration, deployment and troubleshooting of desktop computers and peripherals.
Manages Active Directory-Primary and secondary AD, Sync between primary and secondary, group policies
Manages backup, policies to backup primary servers
Manages FOG Server and FOG Images
Assists students and instructors with Canvas issues.
Troubleshoots general network related issues on workstations, printers, scanners and wireless system.
Campus-specific duties:
Administers all smart-podiums, troubleshooting all AV issues in lecture halls and classrooms
Performs basic installation, configuration, deployment and troubleshooting of desktop computers and peripherals
Administers Print Server and printing management software
Administers E-Mail listserv for faculty, staff and student body
Troubleshoots general network related issues on workstations, printers, scanners and wireless system
Administers Includes scheduling recordings, managing Yuja uploads, troubleshooting any issues related to both the streaming and VOD servers
Manages off-campus streaming events
Manages AV systems of OSCE rooms and recording OSCE practical's using DVR recording system. Archives OSCE recordings and provides archived video to faculty to review
Technical support for Medical Simulation Machines (SimMan, SimMan 3G, BabySim and BabySim 3G). Troubleshoots connectivity issues, replaces/fixes simulator parts

Qualifications
Education/ Experience
Bachelor of Arts required.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience.
At least 2 year experience.
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
Team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt and learn new technologies.
DNS, DHCP, LDAP, TCP/IP, Symantec Backup Exec.
Knowledge of Windows Workstations/Servers, Linux Servers and Mac OSX.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook
Basic understanding of Audio Visual equipment.

USD $57,434.00/Yr.
