Sparks Group has partnered with a Primary Care Medical Practice with multiple locations in LA County to identify a HR/Payroll Generalist to manage comprehensive HR and Payroll support for 8 clinic sites. Well qualified candidates will have 5+ years comprehensive industry specific experience with proficiency in ADP Workforce Now. This is salaried opportunity paying $83-97k annually.
Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including calculating wages, processing payroll taxes, and ensuring timely and accurate payment.
Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local payroll and employment laws and regulations. Implement necessary changes to policies and procedures as required.
Administer employee benefits programs, covering health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
Oversee recruitment processes, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
Maintain accurate employee records, including payroll data, benefits information, and personnel files. Ensure strict confidentiality of all staff information.
Generate payroll reports for management and accounting purposes. Analyze payroll data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement.
Act as the primary point of contact for payroll and HR-related inquiries from employees, managers, and external parties.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Accounting, or Business Administration.
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 plus years of experience in payroll processing and HR management.
Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, ADP Run, and ADP Total Source.
