Successful candidates will have a relentless passion for social media as well as for our brands, a strong knowledge of social trends, and applicable social experience/ personal social expertise. All A&F copywriters must possess near-perfect editing and grammar skills and be able to write short, smart, snappy copy that has a clear point of view and a recognizable voice. The ideal applicant is curious, energetic, optimistic and highly collaborative.What will you be doing?Writing engaging social copy for A&F and abercrombie kidsGenerating unique content creation ideas with creative partnersDeveloping and implementing social strategies to increase awareness/ engagementStaying on top of social trends and languageWriting copy for organic social feed, stories and platformsHelping write copy for paid media, SMS and push notifications as neededEditing copy based on leadership feedback, changes to product, trends, performance, etc.Applying high-level campaign messaging to social platforms appropriatelyStaying curious and up-to-date on fashion trends & terminologyPerforming and sharing competitive research with the team to better inform copy going forward What will you need to bring?All A&F copywriters must possess near-perfect editing and grammar skills and be able to write short, smart, snappy copy that has a clear point of view and a recognizable voiceBachelor's degree, preferably in English, Creative Writing or Advertising/ Copywriting, or related experienceA relentless passion for social media, engaging with brands and channels every day as though it’s second nature1-3 years of copywriting experience, preferably in the retail spaceA portfolio showcasing your passion for the social landscape - please include your social handle(s) if they help convey your social copywriting skills Basic knowledge of marketing principlesProficiency in social media and understanding of best practices across platformsStrong written/ verbal communication & exceptional editing skillsSeamless collaboration skills, including openness to copy coming from anywhereAbility to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentOpen to providing feedback and receiving constructive criticismAn ongoing interest in fashion & familiarity with our brand/ competitorsSelf-starter mindset with the ability to project manage requests as neededWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office & Teams, knowledge of AirTable & Adobe Creative Suite encouraged, but not required Our Company Abercrombie & Fitch Co.
