Posting Summary	The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Rutgers University-Newark is seeking a Professor of Data Science to also serve as the inaugural leader of the Institute for Data, Research and Innovation Science (IDRIS). The faculty member will work through and with the School of Arts and Sciences-Newark (SASN) in support of the establishment of IDRIS. The initial appointment will be calendar year (CY). The appointment will revert to academic year (AY) should the initial work required with SASN for IDRIS cease or change in nature. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in their area of expertise, conduct research, and perform service. The position start date is as soon as possible due to the work required to establish IDRIS.
