Essential Duties
Plans layout of the warehouse considering seasonal turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items received and stored
Manages the timely receiving, shipping, auditing and distribution of inbound inventory
Manages all inventory transfers of product between the main store and satellite stores
Oversees timely and accurate shipping of all outbound packages: returns, buyback, Amazon orders, and on-line customer orders
Manages the processing of all daily buyback shipments and the sorting of textbook rental returns
Maintains the system of internal controls for inventory including regular auditing of computerized in-bound and out-bound shipments
Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures and traces history of items to determine reasons for any discrepancies between inventory and stock control records; recommends remedial action to resolve discrepancies
Communicates with Titan Shops buyers on receiving discrepancies, damaged goods, and returns
Monitors the freight program including auditing and processing of all freight invoices, processing of all freight storage and damage claims, and maintaining a system of freight charge-backs
Responsible for sourcing all supplies needed for inbound processing (price tags, tagger tails, labels, etc.) and shipments (boxes, tape, merchandise bags, stickers, labels, etc.).
Provides supervision and direction to assigned part-time staff, including corrective action as needed and ensuring all part-time staff are adhering to store policies
Responsible for communicating scheduling needs to the Staffing Coordinator to maintain proper coverage
Reviews and evaluates monthly-financials with the Associate Director, Store Operations to control department merchant supply and shipping costs
Responsible for the delivery and collection of campus and ASC mail
Provide weekly/monthly staffing reports, including KPI’s to the Associate Director, Store Operations
Promotes an inclusive environment of teamwork and leads to ensure Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is practiced/applied in department operations, programs and services.
Know and follow all safety rules and procedures. Report any unsafe acts or conditions to the proper person.
Hold a seat on the Lost Prevention Team

Assume store opening/closing duties as assigned
Complete all assigned training (ASC, Campus and Titan Shops) on or before required due dates to maintain compliance

STORE MAINTENANCE FUNCTIONS:
Works with the Associate Director, Store Operations to develop and maintain a safe working environment for all store staff and visitors
Orders janitorial supplies in a timely manner and routine physical duties to ensure that store is adequately stocked
Serves on the Titan Shops Safety Committee, sharing monthly topics at store meetings
Assists Associate Director, Store Operations in daily operations and maintenance of Bookstore/Commons Building and leased properties.
Maintain Titan Shops vehicles.
ESSENTIAL COLLABORATIONS: Maintaining positive working relationships is essential to the success of the Titan Shops operation. Those relationships include both internal and external partners outside of the Operations Division. Primary collaborators for success in this position include but are not limited to, the following:
Internal: Demand Planning & Academic Resource staff, Customer Service staff, Store Director, etc.
External: ASC Financial Services, vendors, shipping companies, etc.
Qualifications
Working knowledge of warehouse operations, computerized inventory systems, internal audit controls, UPC and EAN bar coding systems, freight tariffs, and class processing
Minimum three (3) years’ in receiving/warehouse operations preferably in a retail environment, preferred
Minimum two (2) years’ experience in the supervision of staff, preferred.
Good computer knowledge including: Windows, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
Basic accounting knowledge related to vendor invoicing and credit memos
General experience with ERP or Inventory Control Systems (NetSuite preferred)
Ability to work with a large and diverse staff
Ability to promote and prioritize Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
Experience in basic repair/maintenance functions in either a residential or commercial environment
General office skills (copy machine, email, fax, filing and phone)
Attention to detail required as well as previous experience maintaining accurate records, managing multiple tasks, and organizing work in order to meet deadlines
Must be a self-starter, actively seek out resolutions, and proactively recommend solutions/provide feedback
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Must be able to professionally communicate with customers, vendors, and employees

EDUCATION:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration or related field, preferred.
