Who You Are:
The Supply Chain Analyst will be a key addition to the Supply Chain & Technology Team and will play an essential role in building out the supply chain for the growing Daily Provisions brand of restaurants. This role will be a crucial player in building and managing vendor relationships, sourcing key items, establishing and improving supply chain processes, and turning insights into actions that impact both operational and financial performance. A strong candidate for this role will have both strong interpersonal and analytical capabilities, as your job will range from negotiating with suppliers to communicating data-driven insights to business leaders. This role will report to Senior Manager, Supply Chain.
What You Will Do:
Oversee sourcing projects (RFP’s) for Daily Provisions by conducting preliminary research, determining business requirements, preparing bidding documentation, and performing comparative analysis of vendor proposals
Manage purchase orders of proprietary products with key suppliers, ensuring optimal distributor inventory levels
Work with food safety and legal teams to onboard suppliers through internal systems
Build and maintain a database of ingredients and suppliers
Monitor proper usage of invoice processing, inventory, and recipe costing software to ensure data is accurate and acted upon on time
Collaborate on analyses related to pricing, spending, and purchasing and communicate recommendations to business leaders
Serve as a point of contact with key vendors and distributors to ensure Daily Provisions receives products of the best quality and value
Help develop standard operating procedures and best practices as it relates to supply chain management
What We Need From You:
Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality, and 2+ years of related on-the-job experience
Experience in the restaurant (or other food-related industries) is a big plus
Knowledge of purchase order management, procure-to-pay processes, vendor relationship management, and contract management
An analytical mind with business acumen – you turn insights into operational actions
Experience with creating reporting in Excel, Alteryx, and/or Tableau
Highly effective ability to collaborate, negotiate, influence, and network with a wide range of diverse groups, including operators, management, and vendors
A bias towards action and a desire to produce results
