As an ARPA-H (Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health) Travel Specialist for the Strategic Technical ARPA-H Talent Support (STATS) Program at Noblis, you will be part of our Health Solutions account team, where you will leverage your financial management, budget analysis, and acquisition experience providing planning, execution, monitoring, and oversight of research and development (R&D) programs throughout their lifecycle, directly supporting Federal PM and the ARPA-H leaders to deliver transformative, sustainable, and equitable health solutions for the Nation.

Role Description:
Noblis is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Travel Specialist to join our team at ARPA-H (Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health).
As an ARPA-H Travel Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating all travel arrangements for RAPA-H leadership, staff and contractor team members, ensuring smooth and efficient travel coordination.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Establish strong working relationships with R&D program managers as well as organization leadership to proactively identify and plan travel requirements
- Plan, organize, prepare and coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements for ARPA-H PMs, office leadership, and staff, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and other travel-related services.
- Research and select appropriate travel options based on budget, schedule, and preferences of team members.
- Coordinate with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and other vendors to secure bookings and negotiate contracts for group travel.
- Provide guidance and support to team members regarding travel procedures, documentation, and travel insurance options.
- Manage travel itineraries, schedules, and visa requirements for team members traveling to various locations for conferences, meetings, and projects.
- Stay informed about travel advisories, health and safety protocols, and other relevant travel regulations to ensure the well-being of travelers.
- Assist in processing travel expenses, reimbursements, and travel policy compliance for all trips.
- Collaborate with other support staff and services at ARPA-H to streamline travel processes and improve overall travel experience for staff.
- Provide travel help desk support, applying knowledge of and experience in applying Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) travel policies, Federal Travel Regulation (FTR), and HHS Financial Management Regulations (FMR)
- Provide expertise in researching and interpreting the FTR; Travel System Operations/Help Desk/Training; reviewing manually and system generated travel vouchers
- Administer the Government Travel Credit Card (GTCC) program in accordance with HHS Financial Management Regulations (FMR)
- Process passport/visa applications
- Research the Foreign Clearance Guide (FCG); Commercial Ticketing Office (CTO) operations, and use of GSA City Pair airfare rates
- Process permanent change of station (PCS) travel authorizations and vouchers
Work is on-site with the possibility to telework 1-2 days per week
