Inside Sales Representative - Wholesale Electrical Supply Distributor - Base Salary to 62k/year - Riverside, CA

• For more than 40 years, our client has been the premier underground utility and electrical supply distributor. This family-owned company was established in 1976 on the principle that excellent customer service and broad product availability are the keys to long-term success.
• As our client continues to experience significant growth, they are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join their sales team to promote and sell their products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Process telephone orders, quoting products, prices, and delivery details, and offering substitutes when necessary.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Conduct sales ethically and professionally, representing the company positively.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through inbound leads and outbound calls/emails.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to address customer issues effectively.
• Follow up on quotes and lost sales promptly.
• Provide support for counter sales and will call, handling phone inquiries and order processing.
• Maintain CRM records on leads, prospects, and market trends.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• 2+ years of experience in the underground utility and/or electrical supply industry
• 2+ years of inside sales experience

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 52k – 62k/year range, plus uncapped commission
