This role is responsible for seamless technical training operations, analytics, and compliance reporting excellence.
As the Learning & Development Technical Operations and Analytics Lead, you will work closely with the Site Services Learning & Development Partners (LDP), business collaborators, and cross-L&D company technical operations, and Informatics teams to ensure smooth technical, analytics, and reporting operations for the business. You will participate in strategic discussions to help craft role-based training for employees and contractors. Additionally, you will collaborate with both the Informatics (IT) and the Roche Global Learning Services (GLS) team to carry out technical training operations, analytics, and reporting requirements.
The responsibilities for this position may include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for analytics, reporting and technical operations for Site Services L&D
Partner with the LDPs and customers across Site Services to find opportunities, gaps, risks, and recommendations for improvement holistically for the organization and
Be the “go to” L&D technical lead (LMS, CMS, data and analytics platforms) and proactively engage with L&D technical peers, L&D team and customers to proactively make L&D operations and analytics a seamless and effective experience for customers
Proactively identify risks, call out as appropriate, and drive action to mitigate and resolve issues
Perform innovative analytics using a variety of tools (Cornerstone 2.0, Excel, Tableau, others) and data sources and clearly communicate analysis and recommendations to various audiences, ensuring customers are aware of and can optimally apply the enterprise tools required to access & complete required training
Fulfill ad hoc reporting requests and ensure all reporting needs are fulfilled based on received customer requests.
Build and maintain comprehensive project documentation for business continuity
Prepare documents and/or presentations for proposed technical and/or reporting changes for consideration, approval and/or change management
Co-create the L&D process for ticket processing and service level agreements (SLAs).
Support L&D processes and projects outside of technical operations & analytics as needed, including but not limited to backing up LDP and flexing to the changing needs of the business.
Requirements
6+ years of business data analytics work in training environment
Cornerstone experience preferred
Experience compiling and working with large sets of source data to drive business insights using various analysis tools particularly in a training environment
Experience in regulated environments, compliance requirements, audit process and implications; understanding of GMP-environment preferred
Experience as a learning professional, comfortable leading development of learning strategies, development of support tools, and training content preferred
Ability to flex and adjust to meet changing needs of the business.
Strong collaboration. Ability to effectively collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams and with individuals from all levels of the organization
Excellent planning and prioritization skills with the ability to multi-task and adapt. Able to deliver results in a shifting environment.
Outstanding customer service skills and ability to follow through to resolve issues
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Location: The role is based in South San Francisco and follows the Genentech policy for hybrid working with a majority of time on campus, including alignment of business and functional needs.
Travel: Limited travel may be required
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $114,200 - $212,200. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
