ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
All production floor productivity, personnel and equipment
Works with Plant Manager to coordinate production schedule.
Supervises operators in their efficient use of production machinery used in the production process following company safety guidelines and policies.
Direct and prepare the staging of raw materials for the manufacturing processing.
Record information such as the number of products tested, production readings, and dates and times of product production.
Separate products according to weight, grade, size, and composition of materials used to produce them.
Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards; observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected.
Separate defective products for reprocessing.
Read gauges and charts, and record data obtained
Maintain work areas, machines, equipment, vehicles, and products.
Verify counts on finished products to determine if product orders are complete; mark or tag identification on parts; load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
Wear many hats and may be asked to assist with other areas in the shop/office/warehouse.
Participates in process improvement projects when assigned.
Attendance at work during the regularly scheduled shift is an essential duty. This includes, but is not limited to the ability to be present at work, arrive on time and be at the work station ready for work at the start of the shift.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
A two- or four- year degree a plus.
Production floor supervision experience preferred.
Ability to be trained to learn basic computer skills, as well as to become proficient in company specific software.
Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
