Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitor IT systems, networks, servers, and applications, quickly identifying and resolving issues to maintain optimal performance.
- Utilize advanced monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Nagios) for alert management, diagnosing issues efficiently and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex technical issues, documenting actions and outcomes for continuous improvement.
- Streamline incident and change ticket management processes, enhancing system reliability and user experience.
- Drive the development of monitoring and alerting procedures, ensuring systems are accurately reporting and responsive to threats.
- Analyze system trends and logs to preemptively address and prevent recurring issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Demonstrated expertise in IT monitoring, with proficiency in tools like Dynatrace, Nagios, and SolarWinds.
- Strong background in incident management, utilizing ITIL-based ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy).
- Excellent problem-solving ability, especially under pressure.
- Effective communication skills, capable of articulating technical details to diverse audiences.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts to cover 24/7 operations.
- Solid understanding of networking, server administration, and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and core networking services (DNS, DHCP).
Certification:
- CompTIA Security+ required.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
