Our Southern California remediation practice is growing, and we are looking for exceptional candidates to start their careers with us in our Irvine office. With a diverse private and public sector client base, we are seeking an Environmental Engineer or Geologist Intern with an amazing capacity to learn. Our projects involve complex site investigations coupled with the application of innovative site remediation technologies.
Your Role:
Role will include, but are not limited to:
· Assist with the preparation of a variety of environmental reports.
· Support soil, soil vapor, and groundwater investigations.
· Manage field equipment.
· Manage and analyze field data.
· Coordinate subcontractors.
· Assist in operating and maintaining remediation systems.
· The selected individual will report to full-time engineers and geologists. They will receive assignments and be responsible for overseeing the completion of tasks.
Desired Skills and Experience:
· Highly motivated with excellent technical writing and documentation skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
· Detail-oriented, resourceful, with strong time management skills, and innovative thinking.
· Operational knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD, gINT, and Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word).
· Ability to utilize critical thinking, a flexible approach to problem-solving, and excellent interpersonal communication (oral and written).
· Planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
· A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.

Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience.
Salary Range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience and demonstrated work experience in the above role; skills, certifications, and competencies that align to the specified role; geographic location; and education, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
