Cyberspace Policy Analyst
Key Role:
Serve as a USCYBERCOM Cyberspace Policy Analyst providing analysis, recommendations, and strategic-level guidance to enable effective Cyberspace Operations at the National, DoD, Service, and Command levels. Gather information, provide analysis, and produce written products in support of USCYBERCOM’s strategic planning efforts. Provide USCYBERCOM with an expanded perspective of strategic, theater, or operational joint warfighting concepts. Attend and facilitate strategic working group meetings that produce measurable actions and results. Review and provide feedback on cyber-related strategies and policies received from higher headquarters. Interact with and coordinate strategic-related issues with Service Component Commands. Participate in studies of future technology to inform strategy development and implementation. Coordinate USCYBERCOM strategies, policies, and guidance with other combatant commands, U.S. Government agencies, and allies. Support interagency and coalition strategy formulations on Cyberspace issues, ensuring authorities, concerns, and USCYBERCOM equities are accurately represented.
Basic Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience as a USG, DoD, or Combatant Command Policy Analyst for military operations
- Experience conducting research, analysis, and contributing to the shaping and coordination of strategy for military operations
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with strategic-level documents such as the Joint Strategic Planning System (JSPS), the Quadrennial Defense Review (QDR), the Unified Command Plan (UCP), and the Chairman's Readiness System
- Experience working in OSD, DoD, Service, or Joint planning staffs
- Experience developing strategy with a future focus that guides activities of an organization and incorporates the vision and long-term goals of leadership
- Experience working with senior military staff
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
