What you will do:
As a Quality Control Technician I , you will be responsible for inspecting materials, final inspection of finished devices, and process non-conforming material. You will also be responsible for the following:
- Perform incoming inspection per inspection plan requirements
- Perform the acceptance of finished devices as the final quality release
- Work with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks and carrying out rework and quality assurance procedures related to production or operations
- Prioritize multiple product lines of varying speeds and volumes to ensure a steady flow of released material.
- Identify, document, segregate, evaluate, & disposition non-conforming material
- Maintain compliance in a highly regulated environment for Class III medical devices following good documentation practices (GDP)
- Participate in lean projects to improve organization efficiency
- Cross functional collaboration, including but not limited to, Manufacturing, Procurement, Distribution, Engineering, Quality, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure coordination of activities
What you need:
- High School or GED Required
- 1 – 2 years of relevant experience (Ex: Inspection, technical drawings/blueprints) Preferred
- Experience with measurement tools Preferred
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions, collect data, work independently and have a strong sense of responsibility Preferred
