Los Angeles Superior Court seeks dynamic, well-qualified, and highly-motivated individuals to fill the positions of Student Worker and Student Professional Worker throughout court locations in Los Angeles County.
ABOUT THE COURT
We are the largest unified trial court in the United States with nearly 600 courtrooms presided over by 550 bench officers and 4,500 full-time employees. The Court has 36 Court locations, serving 88 cities and 118 law enforcement agencies countywide.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Student Workers and Student Professional Workers provide assistance to the Court in carrying out basic clerical and court operations tasks while providing practical work experience and skill development opportunities to students. Employment in this classification is considered part-time and temporary and is limited to a "not to exceed period" of 180 days of employment in accordance with the provisions of the Court's Student Worker and Student Professional Worker Employment Guidelines. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
To qualify, you must meet the following requirements at the time of application:
Student Worker
- Students must be 16 years of age or older at the time of application
- Current high school senior or enrollment in an accredited university, community college, or trade/vocational school
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
Student Professional Worker
- Students must be 16 years of age or older at the time of application
- Current enrollment in an accredited university, community college, or trade/vocational school
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Successful completion of sophomore year of college*
*Completion of sophomore year of college is 60 units completed for semester system - OR - 90 units completed for quarter system.

Student Professional Worker A legible copy of school transcripts (unofficial acceptable) showing current enrollment, completion of sophomore* year of college - AND- an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher.
