We are a growing multi-disciplinary team addressing everyday customer needs through a combination of quality assurance engineering, frontend development, backend software engineering, and machine learning engineering. We are looking for quality assurance engineers (QAE) to enable us to deliver high quality customer experiences through rigor and innovation. If this is intriguing, read on.
For online fashion shopping, the convenience, selection, and price benefits of shopping online have yet to be fully realized. Today the online shopper's largest friction is evaluating fit and size, trust in quality, and the evaluation and discovery experience.
Our teams ultimate goal is for customers to easily evaluate and discover items they will like: across the globe, on laptops and mobile, etc. We need to build beautiful, intuitive, responsive user interfaces that our customers will use to discover items, evaluate fit and refine our understanding of their tastes. Hence, we need QAEs who will not only test our customer experiences rigorously, but also deliver step function innovations on our test automation tooling and processes. Our QAEs are not pure black box testers; they are able to understand code, debug problems, write automated tests, and deliver automation frameworks and tools that accelerate our rate of delivery.
As a member of the team, you can have a huge impact on everything from the functionality we deliver for our customers, to the architecture and operational excellence of our testing systems, to the culture we build. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience - Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects - Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality - Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium - Experience in manual testing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems - Experience with performance and scalability testing

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $102,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
