Position Summary
The Nursing Program of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time faculty member (one year appointment) to assume didactic and clinical teaching responsibilities within the undergraduate nursing program. Candidates with a demonstrated record of professional and clinical experience, teaching, and curriculum development are encouraged to apply.
We are specifically seeking candidates with expertise in the following areas:
Maternal Child Health Nursing
Pathophysiology and Pharmacology
Medical Surgical Nursing
Essential Duties
Teaching assigned courses (including didactic, lab, and clinical teaching)
Collaborating with course faculty for course planning, advisement, and curriculum development
Participation in program, school and University committees
Service and scholarship in line with program expectations
Secondary Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
Unencumbered Registered nurse license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Minimum of a master’s degree in nursing,
Demonstrated record of professional and clinical experience, teaching, and curriculum development.
Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree is preferred.
Familiarity with varied instructional delivery methods is preferred.
