Join the team at Hersheypark Camping Resort, campground located a few miles down the road from Hersheypark amusement park that features log and deluxe cabins, tent sites, and partial and full-hookup sites.
This position is responsible for the cleaning of all areas of the Hersheypark Camping Resort, primarily focusing on cabins, bathhouses and public spaces. Additionally, responsibilities may include picking up trash and cleaning fire pits. Workampers receive an hourly wage plus a Full Hook Up Site w/ 50 AMP electrical service, water, sewer, cable & Wi-Fi and other company perks.

General knowledge of housekeeping and cleaning

Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies
Job Demands:
Physical requirements would include ability to stand (for up to five hours at a time), walk, bend at the waist and knees and have repeated manual dexterity, the ability to push, pull, and reach above shoulder level, climb ladders, and lifting up to sixty (60) pounds without assistance
Employees are subject to a variety of weather conditions, including but not limited to: extreme heat, sun exposure, cold, and inclement weather. Work is almost exclusively outdoors.
Employee must provide proper footwear (closed toe and heel)
Must be comfortable with exposure to cleaning chemicals and potential exposure to bodily fluids and other spills.
Must be able to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, with shifts starting as early as 7:30 AM and ending as late as 4:00 PM, May through September, according to the Workamper contract.
