JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for producing regular production and component forecasts; design and organize reporting tools to the supply chain to support efficient data retrieval; and provide high-level as well as detailed business analyses to help the company achieve its corporate objectives and metrics. The inventory control lead is responsible for all activities and not limited to: Consignment Inventories Management, Achieving Corporate Inventory Goals and objectives, Physical Inventory, Cycle Count Accuracy, Excess and Obsolete Inventory Tracking and Disposition. Establishing Kanban Levels and Requirements. System Lead Time and Min / Max Levels.

JOB DUTIES:
|
- Maintain operations data (e.g. Item Master, Bill of Materials, Work Center, Routing, Vendor Pricing data, etc.) to ensure high level of accuracy and integrity of the information within the ERP system.
- Program MS Access or other reporting tools to query and extract data, aggregate, analyze and provide meaningful summaries and observations to management and supply chain personnel.
- Interface with Purchasing, Planning, Material Control, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance and IT departments to prepare, analyze, monitor and report on key operations metrics.
- Statistical forecasting of finished goods and raw material components for production planning, capacity analyses, and to support ongoing procurement and inventory velocity programs (Turns).

EDUCATION AND WORK ECPERIENCE REQUIRED:
|
- High school diploma and/or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- 2-5 years' experience in cost accounting or business analysis in a manufacturing environment using an ERP system.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
|
- Advanced MS Access user skills.
- Statistical work experience or education preferred.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and oral communications skills.

Salary Range : $18.00 - $22.00
