Key Responsibilities:
Building a List of Contracts:
Research and pull contracts for the client's business unit
Identify and document contract meta-data.
Managing Contract Tracking Project:
Oversee the tracking of contract progress across a portfolio.
Review, assign, terminate, or renegotiate contracts as needed.
Ensure all contractual changes are well-documented and communicated.
Contract Negotiation and Redlining:
Have a strong understanding of the redlining process.
Engage in negotiations, focusing on Technology contracts, specifically SaaS contracts.
Maintain clear, high-quality communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management:
Facilitate discussions with stakeholders and suppliers.
Ensure alignment and agreement throughout the contract lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Experience in Contract Management:
Proven history of working with, reviewing, and negotiating Technology contracts.
Familiarity with the specific needs and standard contractual obligations of SaaS engagements.
Knowledge of Indirect Spend Contracts:
Specific experience with Technology contracts.
Project Management Skills:
Ability to manage multiple contracts and ensure timely progression and resolution.
Communication:
Provide consistent and clear communication to the project team.
Ability to articulate contract status and needs effectively.
Negotiation:
Skilled in the redlining and negotiation process.
Experience in managing contractual changes and ensuring stakeholder alignment
Technical Understanding:
Knowledge of standard contractual obligations for software engagements.
Familiarity with SaaS contracts.
