Project Scheduler, Senior
The Opportunity:
As a Project Scheduler, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, an experienced Project Scheduler who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.
On our team, you’ll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of a client program. You’ll work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting. You’ll help with tactical planning using resources like MS Project, and regular interactions with SMEs, schedulers, and internal and external stakeholders.
In this role, you'll manage projects that are moderately complex or are a portion of a larger program and provide primary scheduling support to a Department of Defense client to establish, monitor, and report a program's execution towards milestones, key events, and task accomplishment criteria. You'll create, develop, and manage detailed, resource–loaded schedules using Microsoft Project to communicate effectively to clients and the team, and collaborate with project team to identify project activities, task progress, work accomplished, and resources needed and used with the client and internal program management. On our team, you'll provide in–depth analyses for resource loading, critical paths, dependencies, and variances. You'll identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and issues, contribute to and articulate process improvement efforts to align with client objectives, and serve as a liaison with program and project sponsor, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project schedules align with project goals and objectives. You'll coordinate with the job manager on the delivery of contract deliverables related to project schedules, and provide resource allocation, risk management, communication, quality assurance, training, and support. This position is located in Arlington, VA.

You Have:
- 3+ years of experience as a project scheduler, including maintaining responsibility for creating and updating project schedules, working with team and project leads to schedule resources, tracking progress, developing reports, and briefing project schedule status
- 3+ years of experience with quantitative analysis, including financial and schedule analysis
- Experience with using Microsoft Project Server to monitor the health and progress of project schedules
- Experience with using Project Professional 2010 and Project Professional 2013 to build project schedules
- Ability to display flexibility, show initiative and innovation, and deal with ambiguous and fast-paced situations
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities, procedures, and IT tools
- Ability to manage client and team relationships
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Department of Defense support
- Experience with business intelligence techniques for reporting and analysis
- Experience with building reports using Microsoft Project Server
- Ability to adapt delivery for varied peer and leadership audience

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
