Job Summary Manages Domestic Rail Asset Intermodal customers with an account portfolio of over approximately $50 million, primarily focused on managing and increasing the value of the assigned accounts.
Primary Activities and Responsibilities
Design, market, sell and manage CSX Transportation (CSXT) services to several Channel Partner accounts across the United States.
Negotiate and close large, complex commercial proposals in conjunction with all relevant CSX groups including Marketing, Service Design, Operations, Customer Service, Industrial Development, etc.
Create and execute strategic account plans for customers.
Lead and strengthen business relationships within CSXT and customer organizations while pushing each for improved performance or increased business levels.
Lead and develop improved service plans with customer and appropriate CSX groups, including Service Design, Operations, and Customer Service.
Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manager
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree
5 or more years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business/Strategic Management, Sales, Account Management, Marketing, or Finance
Preferred Qualifications
Graduate Degree
3 or more years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business/Strategic Management, Sales, Account Management, Marketing, or Finance
