Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with experience in pain management to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality care to our patients and will work collaboratively with our healthcare team to manage and alleviate patient pain.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of pain management protocols
Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses to pain management treatments
Provide patient education on pain management techniques and medication administration
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
Qualifications:
Degree/Education: Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Experience: At least one (1) year of clinical work experience as a full-time LPN/LVN within the preceding three (3) years
Licensure/Registration: Current unrestricted license to practice as an LPN/LVN in any one (1) of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
