The Talent & Learning Leader is a critical role enabling our People Teams to achieve better performance, retention, engagement, optimization and development of talent through the opportunities offered by our standardized learning curriculum and talent management approach. This role will work across the integrated Talent COE (TA, TM, Learning) to provide support to Business Leaders, People Leaders and their people teams of the nominated groups allocated to this portfolio*. This role will be actively involved in, and or lead global talent management projects.
This role can be based in most North America GHD offices.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure people teams, managers and employees understand, are competent to contribute to, and gain value from GHD’s talent management and learning approach.
- Work with people and leadership teams to identify talent & learning needs in accordance with the organisation strategic and operational plans, set relevant targets, and develop plans to improve metrics across the talent lifecycle.
- Implement global talent and learning processes and practices as well as support localised strategies and initiatives to drive best practice across the talent lifecycle.
- Ensure talent and learning data is available, accurate, understood and used to improve all aspects of the talent lifecycle.
- Support the effective uptake of self-led learning across the Business and coordination the talent nomination process to centralised leadership programs and other career development opportunities as appropriate.
- Be a central point of contact for key stakeholders regarding talent & learning and ensure the views of stakeholders are communicated and align with the work of the Talent COE - Lead and support other approved talent projects and initiatives relevant to role as required.
- Work effectively with other members of the Talent COE and with other People team members to be an advocate for MIR strategic priorities including inclusion & diversity, wellbeing, innovation and the growth focus of the Enterprise.
Qualifications:
- Experience in leading talent management and or learning initiatives within and across global businesses.
- Knowledge of and experience with best practice talent management and learning frameworks.
- A consulting mindset with the ability to balance regional and global needs and to influence and collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders.
- A passion for improving key metrics related to talent and learning (e.g., diversity, performance, engagement, retention, development).
- Demonstrated interest in understanding different cultures and work environments.
- Experience with and an ability to work flexible hours and virtually, given the geographic scope of role.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in relevant field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in project and or program management.
- Relevant professional certification or registration.
- Saville psychometric assessment certification.
- Experience in and understanding of instructional design.
- Experience in facilitation and coaching.
- Experience working in or across diverse cultural environments.
- Experience of administrative processes and systems related to Talent & Learning.
