What this job involves - The EHS Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing environmental health and safety programs. The goal of this role is to ensure that the company complies with all relevant regulations and that its employees and the environment are protected from hazardous conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement environmental health and safety policies and procedures
• Conduct environmental health and safety audits and inspections
• Provide training on environmental health and safety topics to employees
• Investigate accidents and incidents
• Maintain environmental health and safety records
• Work with management to identify and mitigate environmental health and safety risks
• Stay up-to-date on environmental health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational safety and health, or a related field, or experience commensurate with the role. 
• 3+ years of experience in environmental health and safety
• Strong understanding of environmental health and safety regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
