About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Marketing Manager/Director of Marketing to lead the marketing efforts for Samsung's digital health initiatives in the United States. As a key member of the Digital Health Marketing/Communications team, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote Samsung's innovative digital health products and solutions, driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and market growth. This position will report to Head of US Digital Health Marketing & Communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Marketing Strategy:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, market opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Define clear goals and KPIs to measure the success of marketing initiatives.
Brand Positioning and Messaging:
- Develop compelling messaging that resonates with target audiences and communicates Samsung's value proposition in the digital health space.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels and touchpoints, specifically to consumer, partnerships, and relevant channel stakeholders such as providers and payors.
Campaign Planning and Execution:
- Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, events, and partnerships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Partnership, and various internal stakeholders, to develop campaign assets and content.
Customer Engagement and acquisition:
- Drive customer and partner engagement and acquisition through targeted marketing initiatives, including lead generation campaigns, customer loyalty programs, and customer relationship management (CRM) strategies.
- Leverage data-driven insights to optimize marketing campaigns and improve conversion rates.
Market Expansion and Partnership Marketing Support:
- Identify strategic partnership opportunities to expand Samsung's presence in the digital health market.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, industry influencers, and healthcare organizations.
- Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.
- Monitor campaign performance and adjust budget allocations as needed.
- Lead along a highly matrix organization within US Digital Health, HQ Digital Health, SEA, SRA, and other Samsung teams of marketing professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values innovation, creativity, and excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing, healthcare, and technology sectors.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence stakeholders at all levels and make decisions within an intrapreneurial group.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for innovation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- A high degree of comfort managing and working in a highly matrixed organization. Proficiency in changing mindset and culture.
- Hybrid work environment and ability to travel overseas, 20%.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Experience in the digital health industry or related healthcare sector.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience working with consumer wearable or technology brands.
- Proficiency working in a global culture, multi time zones, and values.
The salary range for this role is expected to be between $[175,000] and $[195,000]. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
