In this vital role, you will guide our production planning efforts, align market demands with manufacturing capabilities, and play a key role in our Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to help propel our dynamic Supply Chain Planning team forward, enhancing key metrics and making strategic contributions that fuel our growth. Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supply Planning: Lead the production planning lifecycle, developing customized short- and long-term strategies that align with market demands and business objectives. Masterfully present these plans to leadership and key stakeholders, ensuring buy-in and collaboration. Inventory & Distribution Optimization: Manage the seamless flow of finished goods from production sites to distribution centers, refining strategies to maximize inventory efficiency and elevate service levels. Data Analytics & Insights: Leverage advanced analytics to assess supply-demand dynamics and identify improvement opportunities. Generate comprehensive reports and presentations that outline key performance indicators and support strategic decision-making. Support S&OP Process: Craft compelling presentation materials for monthly S&OP review meetings, providing critical analysis and feasible solutions for capacity challenges. Understand the capacity and capability at each manufacturer. Data Management Collaboration: Partner with the Data Management team to maintain the integrity of supply chain parameters and settings, supporting approved business and working capital objectives. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a critical link among cross-functional teams, improving supply chain processes and leading continuous improvement efforts. Proactively manage supply issues by identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, and prioritizing actions. Collaborate with Sales, Category Management, and demand planning teams to prioritize demand based on supply availability when capacity is constrained. Tech-Savvy & System Optimization: Collaborate with technology partners to optimize and effectively utilize JDE and other advanced planning systems for robust production and distribution planning. Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement in business processes and system solutions. Position Qualifications Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or Engineering. Professional Experience: At least 3 years in supply planning and production scheduling. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with ERP systems (JDE), Advanced Planning systems (Demantra, or Blue Yonder). Industry Experience: Prior experience in the food or related process industries. Certifications: ASCM/APICS certification is highly regarded. Pay Range $80,000 to $95,000 #INDONT
