Job Summary

We're on the lookout for a dynamic and reliable intern to become part of our team. As an intern, you'll dive into the world of network operations, getting hands-on experience with our daily and weekly routines. Your main focus will be supporting our wireless group, ensuring smooth campus-wide connectivity. To thrive in this role, you should be ready to tackle any task assigned by your supervisor, whether it's lending a hand on upcoming projects or pitching in with ongoing operations.

Essential Job Duties

•  Perform thorough wireless surveys across campus.
•  Document incorrect floor plans.
•  Communicate with building occupants during surveys.
•  Rack switches and patch in ethernet cables.
•  Study towards a CCNA or ACA certification.

Basic Qualifications

• Current enrollment or recent completion of a Computer Science or Information Technology Bachelor’s Degree.
• Strong desire to learn wired and wireless networking.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain modern operating systems.
• Recommended to have working knowledge of at least one current programming language.
• Commitment to ethical work habits.
• Must be able to move through buildings for several hours.
• Must be able to lift/carry 25lbs.
• Strong English-speaking skills.
