Position Title: DIRECTOR OF DINING SERVICES II - K12 FOOD SERVICE, NEWARK, NJ
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000

Are you an energetic leader with a passion for redefining dining experiences? We're seeking a dynamic Director of Dining Services to lead our team in delivering outstanding service and unforgettable culinary adventures for our premiere K12 school district located in Newark, NJ. From strategic planning to operational excellence, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting the future of our dining services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire our team of frontline associates up to salaried managers.
- Drive strategic initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and increase profitability.
- Recruit, train, and develop top talent within the organization.
- Be responsible for the annual budget and control costs efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients, customers, and associates.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient functioning of a dining service operation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Services Technology/Management/Hospitality preferred or equivalent experience.
- Five plus years of food service management experience.
- Strong knowledge of high-volume food production and catering trends is preferred.
- Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed services experience.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
