Summary: Obtains competitive price quotes when required and follows standardizations set by IT Management. Procures IT equipment as requested by end users. Monitors and keeps track of the IT equipment inventory. Assists with setting par levels for standard equipment to assure availability. Helps investigate and procures non-standard IT equipment as the need arises. Arranges for proper disposal of all end-of-life IT assets & maintains required documentation. Participates in meetings with internal departments to analyze IT equipment needs for large and complex projects, such as new construction & renovations. Provides recommendations and processes purchase orders for the needed project equipment. Collaborates with IT vendors to resolve discrepancies and equipment availability. Arranges for special incoming and outgoing shipments with IT vendors and Summa warehouse management.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Formal Education Required: a. Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
2. Experience & Training Required: a. Two (2) years of experience which has provided working knowledge of inventory, requisition and purchase order processing or appropriate combination as needed in the role. Experience using purchasing systems to submit and keep track of purchase Requisitions. Experience using Microsoft Excel, or other spreadsheet tool, to sort data and maintain calculations.
3. Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications: a. Must be 21 years of age or over at time of hire. b. Must have valid Ohio Driver’s License and meet Summa Fleet Insurance Standards. c. Competent in using Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365 Suite of products (including Teams) or comparable tools. d. Analytical skills to evaluate inventory problems and carry out plans to resolve. e. Ability to manage work load, both verbally and thru appropriate electronic work orders, completing them within set service level time lines. f. Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with those contacted in the course of working across multiple company locations g. Ability to learn and cite appropriate IT&S hardware, software, security, and Internet policy to end users and refer them to appropriate resources with questions. h. Works independently within the boundaries of their work queue assignments and timelines. i. Ability to work well within a team environment. j. Assumes accountability for demonstrating behaviors consistent with a customer service centered mind set. k. Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
