Responsibilities
- Create and execute a sales plan to assist organization in meeting and exceeding the CYTO sales objectives
- Refine and define the Target and Key accounts list, analyze and adjust as needed to ensure accuracy
- Managing phone contact and/or virtual sales calls with customers to develop, maintain, and expand existing business in the territory
- Qualify, develop and close opportunities according to strategic and territory plan
- Document all sales related activities including sales calls, opportunities, meetings, quotes, product validations, contact activities and other pertinent account information in Salesforce
- Engage with potential new customers through cold calls, to qualify sales leads and generate new business
- Provide voice of customer to internal teams on product performance, implementation and development areas, and identify training and documentation
- Provide feedback to inside personnel, Sales Management and Marketing Department on changes in the marketplace or competitive trends and additional information
- Provides technical support to new and existing customers and/or distributors via phone, meetings, and email
- Gathers competitive intelligence as assigned; implements tactics to build competitive barriers
- Must be well organized managing all administrative duties and product requests within these Key and Target accounts
- Promoting and cultivating relationships with industry leaders and key customers through support activities, membership in appropriate organizations, and advisory board panels
- Responsible for working within the expense guidelines
- Travels and represents FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific at tradeshows, seminars and customer sites
Required Skills/Education
- B.S. degree in Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology or related life science.
- 2+ years of inside selling experience in cytogenetic, biotechnical or related field. Outside CYTO sales experience is a plus.
- Sales and marketing techniques. Cytogenetic experience a plus.
- English fluency in speaking, reading and communicating is a requirement. Good oral communication skills.
Salary and Benefits:
- For California, the base salary range for this position is $66,125 to $105,800 annually. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
