Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Special Education or designee, assists in meeting the needs of students with disabilities; provides support to special education teachers and parent through IEP team meetings and professional development opportunities; coordinates with special education teachers and general education teachers to train and support inclusionary practices to the greatest extent possible.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:
1. Experience: At least five (5) years of demonstrated successful experience in the field of public education, part of which must have been as a classroom teacher.
2. Education: Bachelor of Arts/Science and/or Master’s Degree in a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning; Official Transcripts.
3. Credential: Possession of valid California Teaching and Administrative Services Credentials.
All District employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. Successful applicants for this position will be required to submit proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or request an exemption for qualifying medical or religious reasons during the onboarding process. Applicants should not present proof of vaccination until directed to do so by the District’s Human Resources Office.
