Overview
The IT Support Specialist provides technical remote and on-site support to Breakthru network users, including general software installation, documentation, and troubleshooting on a variety of hardware (facility servers, PCs, and laptops).The position primarily works with end users and assists with PC based software applications.
Responsibilities
Provide administration, maintenance and troubleshooting of ipads, desktops, laptops, servers, and other technological equipment.
Coordinates additions, moves, upgrades (hardware and software) for facility users.
Administrative responsibilities of office equipment:
Voicemail/phone and email applications.
Printers
Computers equipment used in picking, sorting and management of warehouse inventory.
Recommends hardware / software and telecommunication equipment upgrades.
Assists users with software applications, including Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.
Monitor established network policies and procedures to ensure conformance with Information Technology and Company objectives.
Answer tickets submitted to the IT Helpdesk Center across the enterprise.
Working periodic nights, weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Information Technology role.
Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates’ degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
Previous experience with SAP, Workday, Citrix, MoMobile Device Management platform, PowerShell, and Office 365 Administration
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone
Competencies:
Accountable for meeting own targets, work is reviewed periodically.
Problems encountered will be defined, repetitive, and routine with a solution readily available.
Salary and Benefit Statement:
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience.
$27.00 - $37.00 per hour
Benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and PTO and holiday
