Job Abstract

The Security SME (Subject Matter Expert) will support the oversight of security vendors and programs at specified sites.  

Responsibilities  

• Prepare and present security Program Governance and reporting information based off agreed upon frequency.   
    
• Prepare and conduct monthly review meetings with security vendor   
    
• Collaborate with other IFM Security professionals    
    
• Escalate unresolved or major issues impacting business to management, including recommendations to pursue service level remedies where appropriate    
    
• Continually review best practices to mitigate potential consequences of incidents and develop a plan to respond to incidents   
    
• Manage vendors – budgets, deliverables, meets deadlines, and project reports   
    
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with vendors to create open channels of communication and ensures vendor alignment with client needs   
    
• Assess and monitor vendor performance against contractual commitment   
    
• Some travel may be required, up to 20%   
           

Requirements           

• Bachelor of Science in Information Security or Computer Science or 3+ years of direct information security experience. 

Compensation: $60.00 per hour     

Shift: Part time consultant (approximately 10-12 hours a week).
