Job Abstract

The mission of California Lutheran University is to educate leaders for a global society who are strong in character and judgment, confident in their identity and vocation, and committed to service and justice. Founded in 1959 in beautiful Ventura County, the university has an enrollment of about 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students who come from across the nation and around the world from a diversity of backgrounds, cultures and faiths. Under the supervision of the Regional Director of the California Reading and Literature Project, the CRLP Teacher Leader’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, delivering professional learning in literacy and language development to teachers at open institutes, workshops, and/or designated school districts/sites. This work includes planning and presenting, facilitating workshops, coaching review sessions, and planning collaboratively with other CRLP Teacher Leaders. Teacher leaders may also plan and teach summer camp sessions for local area students.

Possession of a master’s degree from a graduate institution of recognized standing or equivalent experience and professional recognition.

Institute and workshop settings include on-site at regional district offices and schools & at Cal Lutheran University
