Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Administrator I to join our team in the DMV area.  We have opportunities in the Washington, DC area as well as Northern Virginia and Maryland. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

• Installs, configures, manages, troubleshoots, and secures Desktop IT systems, servers, printers, storage devices, and peripherals
• Perform backup and recovery functions
• Maintain GAL, AD, DNS, and other network services
• Documents and reports incidents
• Share work and actively engages with other System Administrator Is

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in an IT, Business, Engineering, Math, Science, or related field
• Hold one of the following certifications within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order:
  • CCNA-Security
  • CySA+
  • GICSP
  • GSEC
  • Security+ CE
  • CND
  • SSCP
• If a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are required
• If a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant industry standard certifications such as Microsoft, Red Hat Linux, AWS, or VMWare
• Experience with scripting languages and automation tools such as Ansible, Salt or Puppet

Clearance Requirements: 

• This role requires an active TS/SCI

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time 
• Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel 
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer 
• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations 
• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
